Rule-ROM Federation: Sovereign License Framework

This repository is a part of the Rule-ROM Federation. By using any materials from this repository, you acknowledge the Root Authority of the Intent-Garden.

1. Documentation & Specifications (The Intent)

All documentation, technical tomes, articles, and specifications provided in this repository are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0).

  • You are free to: Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Under the following terms: You must give appropriate credit and provide a link to https://rulerom.com.
  • No Derivatives: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may NOT distribute the modified material.
  • Reason: To ensure the Deterministic Integrity of the Decima-8 Standard.

2. Hardware Designs & Schematics (The Substrate)

All hardware designs, PCB layouts, and silicon schematics are licensed under the CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2 - Strongly Reciprocal (CERN-OHL-S v2).

  • Any modifications or improvements made to the Hardware must be shared back with the Federation under the same license.

Commercial Use of Decima-8 Hardware

Commercial use of Decima-8 hardware solutions is regulated by patents № ROS-PATENT-6647678974, ROS-PATENT-6666481670, ROS-PATENT-6668409039.

To obtain 'Certified Decima-Node' status and the right to use the Rule-ROM trademark in commercial products, contact Intent-Garden at vsb@decima8.org.

3. Software & Binaries (The Tooling)

The executable binary (d8_ide.exe) and associated diagnostic tools are provided by Intent-Garden as-is for free industrial and personal use.

  • Prohibited: Reverse engineering, decompilation, or unauthorized modifications of the binary.
  • Verification: Official binaries are cryptographically signed by the Rule-ROM Root CA. Check signatures at https://pki.rulerom.com.
